Where did you start with the hobby? Round about 1982 a friend introduced me to Dungeons and Dragons. Totally obsessed with RPGs throughout school after that. Long gap where I didn't play, but continued to collect and read the rulebooks. Picked up the Dark Vengeance starter set just over a year ago now and haven't looked back since!
What is the biggest highlight in your time doing the hobby? It's been a fairly brief affair compared to some of you old timers, but it would have to be being awarded 'Most Dynamic Table' in round 1 of the tournament this year (and credit to Sam Pengelly for his half of the table too!)
What do you enjoy most about the hobby? It ebbs and flows, sometimes I've got a real painting bug, recently it's been all about assembling and tinkering with green stuff, but overall it's the getting together with others and playing the actual games.
If you could date one of the Chaos gods, which one would you choose? I have no favourites, I'd do 'em all.
What do you enjoy most about the club? Hands down, the banter.
If you had a club nickname, what would you like it to be? You choose.
Who is top of your grudge list? Mik Calow and his bloody League of Assassins. Yeah, they really needed Deadshot to help them out...
If you had any psychic power from the rule book and codexs, which one would you choose and why? The obvious answer would be invisibility (assuming my outline wasn't visible while I was hiding in the shower?), but I think I'd go for that one where you can move terrain - it would make getting to and from work soooo much easier.
How do you feel about Tau? To be honest I'm fairly ambiva-actually no, FUCK TAU!!
What is your favourite game mechanic and why? I think it's the narrative dice in the Fantasy Flight Star Wars RPGs - a couple of symbols open up a whole world of opportunities or chaos.
If you were God-Emperor of Mankind for the day, what would you do? Declare Middlesbrough Premiership Champions for life.
What is it like to be an All Scar? It's an honour and a privilege to be amongst some of the friendliest, funniest, talented, committed, loyal, and genuinely nice people. There's always someone on hand for a game or to chip in with help, advice, bits, constructive criticism and withering insults. Lost count of how many great members there are.
